Jawaher is an all female band, formed under the initiative of Nina Oud, a well establish musician and composer based in the UAE. The ladies from Jawaher were brought together through their love, passion and talent for music expressed through their various instruments.
Jawaher has a beautiful repertoire of Arabic music that is loved by all, including Gulf Khaleeji music, Mawwal, Al Jeel, Andalusian classic music, Malouf, as well as the well-loved classics from Umm Kulthum & Fairuz to name a few.The ladies from Jawaher also express their many talents through Jazz, Latin, Pop, which they blend beautifully with the Arabic soulful sound, skillfully showcasing the fusion of western, classical and Arabic music.
