Native Colombian, Lucio grew up in Bogotá Colombia and started playing sax at 13 years old and at age 17 he got the first alto saxophone chair of the National Youth Symphonic Band of Colombia. Lucio got a scholarship at the prestigious Faculty of Arts of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and received a B.S. degree in Saxophone Performance and pedagogy. He also toured the Latin American pop circuit with such artists as Danny Marin, Fonseca, Andres Cepeda and many others. In addition to numerous appearances at clubs & jazz festivals in Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil to name a few. In Dubai since 2009, he has played in several of the largest events and has gigged with local and international artistst at the Dubai Jazz Fest, Rolling Stone Battle of Bands, Going Back to the Cross Roads (U.K. Blues Band of Jamiroquai's Bass player). He has played venues such as Armani Prive, Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Monarch Hotel, Yas Hotel Abu Dhabi, Shangri La Abu Dhabi, among many others.
